Downtown Oxnard will come alive with classic cars, live entertainment, community spirit, and patriotic celebration as the Oxnard Downtowners Foundation and the City of Oxnard present “Stars, Stripes & Sounds – Celebrate Oxnard America 250” on Friday, July 3, 2026.

The special community event is part of the nationwide commemoration leading up to the 250th anniversary of the United States and will transform Plaza Park into an afternoon and evening destination celebrating music, culture, history, and Oxnard. Centered around the historic Plaza Park, the event will feature:

• A classic and specialty car showcase
• Live music and entertainment
• Food trucks and beer garden
• Family-friendly activities
• A vendor marketplace

Organizers say the event will blend the atmosphere of Downtown Oxnard’s popular First Thursday Food Truck gatherings with expanded entertainment and themed programming tied to the America 250 initiative.
