The best way around Downtown is as a pedestrian!

With great year-round weather and easy access to all amenities, Downtown Oxnard is the ulitmate “walkable community.” In fact, WalkScore.com awarded Downtown Oxnard its highest rating of “Walker’s Paradise” based on a wide variety of criteria. Walk Score’s mission is to promote walkable neighborhoods. Walkable neighborhoods are one of the simplest and best solutions for the environment, our health, and our economy. Of course, bicycling is easy as well with plenty of places to park and lock your bike.

Tours begin at the free parking structure on B Street between Third Street and Fourth Street and end at Heritage Square.  Other stops include the Oxnard Post Office, the Woolworth Building, the Bank of A. Levy Building, Plaza Park and Pagoda, the Carnegie Museum, the C Street Palm Trees, the Santa Clara Catholic Church, the Henry T. Oxnard Historic District, the Japanese Methodist Church, and the Golden Chicken Inn.
