Downtown Vision Plan
The Downtown Vision Plan, drafted in February 2016, by the California Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism provides a comprehensive road map for the realization of a vibrant urban village. The report is the result of a 3-day intensive community charrette involving local property owners, merchants, and residents.
Emphasizes strategic implementation that will include prioritization of actions for public and private investment in the Downtown Oxnard.
The City of Oxnard is the recipient of a $250,000 Caltrans transportation planning grant to be used for the development of the Oxnard Corridor Community Transportation Improvement Plan (OCCTIP)
Produced by Destination Development, Inc. in 2011. Commissioned by the Visitors & Convention Bureau and funded in part by the Oxnard Downtown Management District, Inc. and the Economic Development Corporation of Oxnard.
Developed by the consulting agency of Nelson/Nygard for the City of Oxnard, The Mobility and Parking Management Plan is designed to provide an economically efficient transportation plan for Downtown Oxnard.
