Call for Board Nominations
The Oxnard Downtown Improvement District, a non-profit organization with the
mission to create a culturally and economically vibrant Downtown, is seeking
qualified community advocates for its 2018-19 Board of Directors.*
Persons with demonstrated accomplishments in development, marketing, and
organization capacity building, are especially sought. Business leaders with strong
community relationships and a “can-do” attitude are desired to help strengthen the
organization’s partnership with stakeholders to achieve mission success.

Directors may also participate in subcommittee and relevant City meetings. New
member terms begin July 2018. This is an opportunity to have your voice heard,
make a positive difference, and be a champion for the “Downtown Vision Plan.”
Applications due 3 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018.
*To qualify for Board Membership, you must either own property (residential, commercial, or undeveloped) within the district boundaries or own a Downtown business.
